Expert Answer:
density of water 1 m3 = 1000 kg
therefore 30 m3 of water = 30 * 1000 kg of water =m
height h = 40m
time t= 15 * 60 sec
efficiency of pump = 30% = 3/10
putting the values we get EP = 4.36*104 watts
