Expert Answer
When DNA replicates, it follows semi-conservative method of replication. This means that each daughter molecule consists of one parent strand and one new strand. If a DNA molecule continuously replicating in N15 medium is transferred to N14 medium, then half of the strands of the daughter molecule would contain N15 and half would contain N14 DNA.
However, in our case, the DNA is continuously replicating in N15 medium only. It is not transferred to N14 medium.
Hence, the new formed will not contain N14 DNA.
Hence, the correct answer is option (B) – 0%.
