A no consist of two digit of which tens digit exceeds the unit digit by 7.the no itself is equal to 10 times the sum of its digit.find the number

Let the number be xy.
According to the question,
x = y + 7.....(i)
10x + y = 10(x + y)
10x  + y = 10x + 10y
10y - y = 0 
9y = 0
y = 0
From (i)
x = 0 + 7 = 7
Hence, the number is 70.
