Volume is V and Atomic mass is M.

Density of the element

ρ1 = Z1 X M

V X N0 (1)


ρ2 = Z2 X M

V X N0 (2)

Divide (1) by (2)

We get ,

ρ1 / ρ2 = Z1 / Z2 = 4/2 = 2/1 or 2:1

Hence, the ratio of densities of FCC to BCC is 2:1.
