Expert Answer
The force on the bottom of the cube would definitely increase as the weight of water (or water pressure) acts on it, which is directly above the cube. Earlier, due to absence of water the pressure acting on it was due to air and the cube combined. Now, the pressure will be due to the water and the cube, which will be greater.
