Nominal value of 1 share = Rs 50
Nominal value for 300 shares = 50 x 300 = Rs 15000
Dividend = 20% of 15000 = 20/100 x 15000 = Rs 3000
Income tax paid by the man = 3% of 3000 = Rs 90
Therefore, net income = 3000 - 90 = Rs 2910
