A hollow conducting sphere of radius 10 cm is given a charge of 20 μC. What is the electric field intensity? a. At the centre of the sphere, and b. On the outer surface of the sphere?

Here Q=20 μC = 20 × 10-6 C
R = 10 cm = 0.10 m
a. Electric Field at the centre of the sphere is zero, because intensity at any point inside a hollow sphere is always zero.
