A hemispherical metal bowl has thickness 0.21 cm. The inner radius of the bowl is 7 cm. Find the outer curved surface area of the bowl.

Given inner radius = 7 cm, thickness = 0.21 cm

Outer radius (r) = 7 cm + 0.21 cm = 7.21 cm

Let S be the outer curved surface area of the bowl.

straight S space equals space 326.7572 space cm squared end style


 

Curved surface area of the bowl is 326.7572 cm2
