A hemispherical bowl is made of steel, 0.7 cm thick has inner radius 14 cm. It is to be polished from inside and outside. Calculate the total area to be polished.

Given inner radius (r ) = 14 cm, thickness = 0.7 cm

Outer radius (R) = 14cm + 0.7 cm = 14.7 cm

Let S be the sum of inner and outer curved surface area of the bowl to be polished.
