To get best result, the farmer can try for mixed cropping. Mixed cropping is growing two or more crops simultaneously on the same piece of land.
Three advantages of mixed cropping are:
1. It minimises the risk of crop failure.
2. It reduces the growth of weeds and pests.
3. Two types of crops can be obtained at same time and same cost.

Wheat + Gram
Wheat + Mustard
Groundnut + Sunflower
Wheat + Gram
