In 1 second the farmer travels 10m

So, in 2min 20 sec i.e. after 140 sec, he will travel ( 10 x 140) m= 1400m.

if farmer is travelling in a straight line then displacement  at the end of 2minutes20sec is also 1400m.

Note: 'i think some information is missing in the question'
