Expert Answer:

Width of road roller = 1 m = 100 cm
So, height of the cylindrical road roller = 100 cm
Inner diameter = 54 cm
So, inner radius = 27 cm
Thickness of sheet = 2 cm
So,
Outer radius = 27 + 2 = 29 cm

Volume of iron sheet used
= ∏ (R + r)(R - r)h
= (22/7) x (29+27) x (29 - 27) x 100
= (22/7) x (56) x (2) x 100
= 35200 cm3
