A cylindrical container of radius 8cm and height 35cm is filled with icecream. The whole icecream is distributed among 15 children in equal cones with hemisperical tops.If the height of the conical portion is five times the radius of its base, then the radius of the icecream cone is
A)3cm
B)4cm
C)5cm
D)6cm

Volume of the ice cream in cylinderical container = π R2 H = π×64×35 ...................(1)
where R and H are respectively radius and height of cylinder
volume of the ice cream given in cone with hemisphere top is shown in figure.
Let r be the radius of cone as shown in figure and its height is 5 times of radius r.
if the icecream of the volume given in eqn.(1) is to be distributed for 15 children, then we have
π×64×35 = 15×[ (1/3)π×5r3 + (2/3)π×r3 ] ..................(2)
Solving eqn.(2) for radius r, we get r = 4 cm
