A cylindrical bucket of diameter 28 cm and height 12 cm is full of water. The water is emptied into a rectangular tub of length 66 cm and breadth 28 cm. Find the height to which water rises in the tub.

Given: Diameter of cylindrical vessel = 28 cm ⇒ radius of cylindrical vessel (R) = 14 cm
Height of cylindrical vessel (H) = 12 cm
Let V denote the volume of the cylindrical vessel.
Length of the rectangular tub (l) = 66 cm
Breadth of the rectangular tub (b) = 28 cm
Let h be the height to which the water rises and V1 denote the volume of the rectangular tub.
Now, volume of water in the rectangular tub is equal to the volume of water in the cylindrical tub. Therefore,
