A company selected 2400 families at random and surveyed them to determine relationship between income level and the number of television sets at home. The information gathered is listed in the table below: Find the number of families (i) earning Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 13,000 per month and owning exactly 2 television sets. (ii) earning Rs. 16,000 or more per month and owning exactly 1 television set. (iii) not more than 1 television set and earnings less than Rs. 7,000.

(i) The number of families earning Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 13,000 per month and owning exactly 2 television sets = 29.

(ii) The number of families earning Rs. 16,000 or more per month and owning exactly 1 television set = 579.

(iii) The number of families having not more than 1 television set and earnings less than Rs. 7,000 = 10 + 160 = 170.
