Answer : Given:a circus artist is climbing a 20m long rope,which is tightly stretched and tied from the top of vertical pole to the ground.the angle made by the rope with the ground level is 30degree
To find : the hieght of the pole 
 
Let z be the length of the rope = 20m and hieght of the pole be x
 
=> x / z= sin 30
=> x /20 = sin 30
=> x = 20 * (1/2) = 10 m Answer is the required hieght of the pole.
