To nullify the horizontal component of earth's magnetic field, the current must be passed through the coil. For that the plane must be kept perpendicular to the magnetic meridian.
Given:
N=5 turns
D=10 cm
r=5 cm=0.05 m
BH=30 T (A turn m-1)
R=10 Ω
