Let the two digit number be xy=10x+y.
According to the given conditions, we have
10x+y=3(x+y) or 7x-2y=0 ...(1)
or, x-y+5=0 ...(2)
Solving the equations (1) and (2), we get
y = 7 and x = 2
Thus, the number is 27.
