A certain aqueous solution boils at 100.303°C. What is its freezing point

Dear Student
Boiling point of pure water = 100 °C
Boiling point of solution of urea = 100.13 °C T = 100.13 - 100 = 0.13°C
Now,
T = m x Kb
0.13 = m x 0.52 m = 0.25
T = m x Kf
T = 0.25 x 1.86 = 0.47 °C
Therefore, the freezing point of the solution = 0°C - 0.47 = - 0.47 °C
