A carrom board[4ftx4ft]has queen at the centre.The queen hit by the striker moves to the front edge,rebounds and goes in the hole behind striking line.Find the magnitudeof displacement of the queen(a)from centre to the front edge,(b)from the front edge to the hole and(c) from the centre to the hole.

a) The magnitude of displacement from centre to front edge = 2ft
b) from the front edge to the hole = 4 ft
c) from the centre to hole = 2 /sin 45 = 2 x 1.414 = 2.828 ft
