A car moving with initial velocity of 25m/sis bought to rest. Calculate its acceleration.

Expert Answer
Acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity which means
a= dv/dt
It is given in the question that v final = 0, at rest
and v initial = 25m/s.
So, change in velocity = 0-25 = -25 m/s
However since the time taken in changing this velocity is not specified.
So value of acceleration can not be calculated.
