A car covers a distance of 60 km in 30 minutes. How long will it take to cover a distance of 240 km?

Assuming speed to be constant, distance and time vary directly.
Let the time take for 240 km to be x minutes.
Therefore as per directly variation rule,
Thus the car will take 120 min.
