A capsule of medicine in the shape of a sphere of diameter 3.5 mm. How much medicine (in mm (cube)) is needed to fill this capsule?

Diameter = 3.5 mm
Radius = 3.5 /2 = 1.75 mm
Volume of the capsule
= 4/3 ∏ r3
= (4/3) (22/7) (1.75)3
= 22.46 mm3
Hence, 22.46 mm3 medicine is needed to fill this capsule.
