answered-by-expert Expert Answer
Radius of curvature= 70 cm
Thus, focal length, f = 70/2 = + 35 cm ( focus of convex mirror)
u = - 49 cm ( object is placed to left side of mirror)

By mirror formula,
1/f =  ( 1/v) + (1/ u)
1/35 = 1/v + (1/(-49))
1/35 = 1/v - 1/49
1/v = (1/35) + (1/49)
Thus,
v = 20 cm

For magnification of spherical mirrors,
m = -v/u
Thus,
m = -20/(-49 )
m = 0.40
Thus, image formed by the mirror is virtual, erect and diminished
