The time period = 2πR/V
At the highest point of motion, the centripetal force is provided by the weight of the can and water.
mV2/R = mg, which gives V2 = Rg.
T = 2πR/V = 2x3.14x4/(4x10)1/2 = 4.01 sec.
Hence (d) is the answer.
