A body of mass 2kg at O has an initial velocity of 3 m /s along OE and it is subjected to a force of 4N in a direction perpendicular to OE.The distance of body from O after 4 second will be?

refer to the figure below
 
 
Along OA, 
 
a = force / mass = 4/2 = 2 m/s2
u = 0
t = 4 s
s = ut + (at2)/2 = 2*4*4/2 = 16 m
 
Along OE
u = 3 m/s
a = 0
s = ut = 3*4 = 12 m
 
Distance from O = √(162 + 122) = 20 m
