A ball is dropped from a certain height. If it takes 0.2 s to cross the last 6.2 m before hitting the ground, find the height from which it was dropped. How can I solve the problem ?

Expert Answer:

S = ut + 1/2 at2
Velocity at the beginning of 0.2 s = velocity after it travelled (h-6.2 m)
So total distance = 51.2 meters
