answered-by-expert Expert Answer

Initial velocity of the ball = 6 m/s

Final velocity of the ball = - 4.4 m/s (negative sign as the ball is rebounding back horizontally,i.e. in the opposite direction )

Time , t =0.04 s

Syntax error from line 1 column 49 to line 1 column 73. Unexpected '<mstyle '.

Therefore the acceleration of the ball = -260 m/s2
