Since the bag contains 6 red balls, 8 green balls and x blue balls, the total number of balls in the bag is 6 + 8 + x = 14 + x balls.
 
Thus the probability of selecting a blue ball
The probability of selecting a green balls
Given that the prpbability of blue ball is double that of green ball.
