A and B are friends.A is elder to B by 5 years.B's sister C is half the age of B. if the present age of D is 8 years older than twice the age of B.if the present age of D is 48 years, find the present ages of A,B and C.

let age of A=X
therefor age of B=X-5
Age of C=(X-5)/2
Age of D=8+2(X-5)=2X-2
Age of D id given 48
Therfor 2X-2=48
or X=25
 
Age of A=25
Age of B=20
Age of C=10
