A(4,5,10),B(2,3,4)and C(1,2,-1) are three vertices of a parallelogram ABCD. Find the Cartesian equations of BC. Please note that the answer to this question given in the book is:(x-2)/1=(y-3)/1=(z-4)/5 But My Answer comes to: (x-2)/(-1)=(y-3)/(-1)=(z-4)/(-5) So please solve and determine which one is correct.

Expert Answer:
Both the answers are correct. As, if you will simplify your equation further and cancel the -1 across the denominator of all the terms, you will get the same answer as that in the book.
