Let a=/3
Let it be rational number.
Hence a=m/n , both m ad n are coprime.
We have a2 =3=m2/n2
Hence m2 and n2 are not coprime.
This is a contradiction. Hence a is irrational.
Hence 5+/3 is irrational.
