- Matter is made up of tiniest particles which cannot be further divided.
- Elements combine together to form compounds.
- The law of chemical combination also proves that elements combine in definite proportions to form a particular compound.
- So atoms of various elements combine together to form molecules.
- Each molecule can be expressed by a unique chemical formula.
