Expert Answer:

3x+2y+1=0 ... (i)  x 3

5x+6y-5=0 ... (ii)

9x+6y+3=0 ... (iii)

Subtracting (iii) from (ii), we get

-4x-8=0

-4x=8

x=-2

Substituting the value of x in (i), we get

3(-2)+2y+1=0

-6+2y+1=0

2y=5

y=5/2
