2x+3y+4=0;x-5y=11
Asked by bansodemangesh4455 | 05 Dec, 2018, 09:13: PM Expert Answer
2x + 3y + 4 = 0
2x + 3y = -4 .......(i)
x - 5y = 11......(ii)
Multiplying by 2 to (ii)
2x - 10y = 22....(iii)
Subtracting (iii) from (i)
3y - (-10y) = -4 - 22
3y + 10y = -26
13y = -26
y = -2
Find the value of x using (i) we get
2x + 3y = -4
2x - 6 = -4
2x = 2
x = 1
