2n-3 is the term of an ap

Let an = 2n - 3
When n = 1, a1 = 2 - 3 = -1
When n = 2, a2 = 4 - 3 = 1
When n = 3, a3 = 6 - 3 = 3
When n = 4, a4 = 8 - 3 = 5
and so on
It can be seen that the sequence -1, 1, 3, 5, ... is an AP with common difference 2 and first term -1.
Thus, 2n - 3 is a term of an AP.
