CBSE Class 11-science Answered

1.why is the air coming out of the tyres of a car cooler than the surrounding air?
Asked by neelsid | 15 Feb, 2011, 07:00: PM
Expert Answer
Dear student
Air coming out of tyres of the car undergoes adiabatic expansion, which results in loss of energy.
Hence the temperature of air is lesser & feels cooler than the air inside the tyre held at high pressure.

We hope that clarifies your doubt
