What is the probability that a leap year has 52 Mondays?
A leap year has 366 days i.e. 366/7 = 52 weeks and 2 days
These 2 days could be any of the following: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
No. of total outcomes = 7
Let A be the event that the 53rd week does not have Monday, so it will also not have Sunday
So, the favorable outcomes are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Number of favorable outcomes = 5
