Kindly post one query at a time.
The solution to the first question is as follows:
Let the fraction be x / y.
ATQ, x + y = 4 + 2x => y = x + 4 -------(i)
x/( y + 3) = 2 / 3 -------(ii)
Substituting the value of y from equation (i) in (ii) :
x / (x + 4 + 3) = 2 / 3
=> 3x = 2 ( x + 7)
=> 3x - 2x = 14
So, x = 14
Putting in (i) we get,
y = 14 + 4 = 18
Hence the required fraction is 14 / 18
