1. Minerals in soil gets replenished through application of manures and fertilizers to the soil which increases the crop yield.
2. Farmers ensure fertility of soil in some requirements like taking right soil sample, applying organic fertilisers, use of lime in soil as it raises the pH of the soil and balanced nutrient supply.
3. Other methods adopted by farmers can be practising seasonal soil rotation, utilizing soil and water management effectively which ensures proper drainage, using good quality of seeds from government and authorized vendors
