CBSE Class 11-science Answered

1) Why Newton's Law of Gravitation is not applicable when the separation between objects is of the order 10^(-9)m or less? 2) Why does the motion of moon does not change when earth reaches near Sun, due to the Gravitational pull of the Sun? (Why moon does not revolve around Sun)?

if the separation between the objects is less than 10^-9 m or less, that is atomic level, there strong nuclear force / electrstatic force which are  much much more than grav force,  overpowers.
moon and earth system is  like a binary star. their centre of mass revolves around the sun so the system of moon-earth revolve around the sun.
we have not understood the second part ofv your qs.
