1. The radii of 2 concentric spherical conducting shells are r1 & r2(>r1). The charge on outer shell is q. What is the charge on the inner shell which is connected to the earth.

As given that the charge on outer shell is q. it will induce opposite charge on the inner shell and that charge will pass to the ground as the inner charge is connected to ground. thus the inner shell would be neutral.
