A teacher is a person who helps in shaping our lives from our childhood, a person who wipes our tears and makes us smile. She teaches us, scolds us, plays with us and helps us overcome our fears. In India Teachers’ day is celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm on 5th September. This day announces the birthday of a great teacher and scholar, the second president of India Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was a phenomenal teacher, philosopher, writer, orator, statesman, administrator and above all, a great man. As a mark of respect to this phenomenal teacher, his birthday is observed as Teachers’ Day all across the country.
