A. Oxygen is harmful to obligate (strict) anaerobic organisms. It releases free radicals, which are harmful to organisms. While aerobic organisms have the protective mechanisms (such as enzymes) in their body to break down these free radicals, obligate anaerobic organisms do not have these enzymes.

Q. Which is heavier - a 100 kg bag of cotton or a 100 kg iron rod?

A. The volume of cotton will be larger than the volume of iron. So, it might look like cotton is heavier than iron but in reality both of them will have the same weight.
