Q. As we know that when ever there is a transfer of electrons, their is also a transfer of mass from1 atom to the other, but we also know that atomic mass of an atom = no. of proton + no. of neutron and as we can see that electron does not play any role in determining atomic mass then how can we say that their is transfer of mass?
Posted by: Vikram92
A. When charge transfer takes place, electrons are transferred from one material to another. Electrons have a very small mass but this mass is not zero.

Q. How is cream separated from milk, which is an emulsion?
Posted by: Lakshit007
A. Suspended cream can be separated by centrifugation or ultracentrifugation. Ultra centrifugation is a process in which rotation at high speed makes the colloid separates out from the medium.

Q. If a question is asked whether a matrix inverse existx or not then how do we check it?
A. To check whether the inverse of the matrix exists or not, check the order of the matrix and then find the value of its determinant. Remember: determinant corresponds to a square matrix only. Inverse exists in case of non singular matrices. A singular matrix has its determinant equal to zero. If the matrix is singular then its inverse won't exist.
