Q. What special qualities are given to the ship so that it can float on water?
Posted by: Neelimathegr8
A. The density of iron is more than the density of water. But still the ship does not sink because it has a large volume. So it displaces a large volume of water which provides a large upthrust. This upthrust balances the weight of the ship and helps the ship to float.

Q. Why is pie irrational?
Posted by: ShreyaaK
A. 22/7 is only approximate value of pie. So, it should not be confused with pie being a rational number just because it can be expressed as p/q form with q not equal to zero and p and q being integers.
Also the decimal representation of pie is non terminating, non repeating which is how it qualifies to be a member of the irrational numbers set.
Moreover, pie is the ratio of the circumference 2 pie r of a circle of radius r with the diameter 2 pie.
