Goan Student Wins 2nd Place at Natl Seminar

Ishaan Shetye, a student of A J de Almeida high school, Ponda, has secured second place at the all India science seminar held at National Science centre, New Delhi. The seminar saw participation from several states and union territories. The first place was bagged by the state of Tamil Nadu. Shetye has been awarded a scholarship of one year and has been selected to visit Warsaw in Poland under a UNESCO programme. Shetyeas science teacher Roma Fernandes accompanied him for the event.
