Oh My God!

Yes this was my first reaction when i heard these amazing facts about animals we share our world with.


So I would like to share same with you as well!!

A Chameleon is capable of moving its eyes in two different directions at the same time. See the picture to believe this.



A Dolphin sleep just below the surface of the water at night and it frequently rise to the surface for breathing air.


A Cockroach can live for up to one week without a head.



An Albatross can sleep while flying as well. It dozes while cruising at 25 mph.



Amazon ants (red ants which are found in the western U.S.) steal the larvae of other ants to keep as slaves. The slave ants; when grow up build homes for Amazon ants and feed them as Amazon ants cannot do anything but fight. They depend completely on these slave ants for survival.



A Hummingbird is the only bird that can hover and fly straight up, down, or backward!



A leech is a worm that feeds only on blood. It pierces its victim's skin, fills itself with four times its own body weight in blood, and doesn't feed itself again for months. Leeches were once used by doctors to drain "bad blood" from sick patients.



Only Female Mosquitoes bite human beings because they need the protein from blood to produce their eggs.




The Blue Whale is the world's biggest animal, even larger than any known dinosaur. An average-sized whale is almost 80 feet long and weighs about 125 tons. This giant animal is also the loudest animal on Earth. Its call, which is louder than a jet, can be heard even for hundreds of miles.



Amazingly, Hippopotamus is a quick-footed giant. He can weigh up to 9,000 pounds and run up to 20 miles per hour.



Horned lizards are capable of shooting blood from their eyes.




A Giant Tortoise can live up to about 175 years. In fact, Harriet, a Galapagos tortoise and probably the world's oldest creature, died in Australia in June 2006. She was 176 years old!



Last but not the least, you would be amazed to know that there are more than 1 million species of Insects in the entire world.
