Namaaz

Salah is the practice of formal prayer in Islam. Its supreme importance for Muslims is indicated by its status as one of the Five Pillars of Sunni Islam. Performing namaaz is obligatory, with a few dispensations for those for whom it would be difficult. To perform valid namaaz, Muslims must be in a state of ritual purity, which is mainly achieved by ritual ablution according to prescribed procedures.

Zakat is the 3rd pillar of Islam and is the determined share of wealth prescribed by Allah to be distributed to the 8 categories entitled to receive it.Zakat as translated from Arabic means growth, multiplicity, fertility, cleansing, full of baraqah. Calculate Zakat

The value of Zakat is measured as 2.5% of most types of wealth. There are however, two conditions which are to be fulfilled by the wealth for Zakat to be payable. First, the value of the wealth must be greater than the value of Nisab and second, the wealth must be in possession for at least 1 year.

Fasting

Fasting is another unique moral and spiritual characteristic of Islam. Literally defined, fasting means to abstain "completely" from foods, drinks, intimate intercourse and smoking, before the break of the dawn till sunset, during the entire month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic year.
