Which is more concentrated:A 1M solution or a 1m solution and why?

In a 1M solution you have one mole of the substance present in 1 L of solution that is including the solute and the solvent; i.e. per less than 1 kg (= 1 L for water) of solvent you have 1 mole of solute.

In a 1m solution you have one mole of the substance present in 1 kg of solvent, i.e. per kilogram of solvent you have one mole of solute.

In a 1M solution you have one mole of the substance present in 1 L of solution that is including the solute and the solvent; i.e. per less than 1 kg (= 1 L for water) of solvent you have 1 mole of solute.

In a 1m solution you have one mole of the substance present in 1 kg of solvent, i.e. per kilogram of solvent you have one mole of solute.
